Outside of hull, scraped, steam-cleaned and mechanically abraded

Selected areas shotblasted as needed

Hull surveyed while dry docked

Below waterline, primed and antifouled and replaced all anodes

Replaced rusty section of hull surrounding old portholes and replace with new.

Deck

Entire outer primed and painted

Rear deck shotblasted – selected thin areas welded and replated as needed

Hydraulic steering cylinders removed, resealed and replacement rods and pins, to allow lubrication. All exposed hydraulic pipes replaced with new

Vent fans fitted to both rear compartments to remove condensation and safety reasons.

Hiab removed

Hooks installed for hanging ropes and liferaft

Rear cabin – removed all fibreglass residue, relined all cabin with new inner skin – providing a livable bedroom – installed heating, vents and lighting and recarpeted – now berths for 2. Installed automatic stern gland lubricator and removed old system

Deck Head -  resealed door and tidied.

Main saloon – repainted – renewed lighting – rewired navigation lights – renewed controls for main and aux engine – enabling navigation from either the saloon and the flybridge. Replaced/reconditioned all bridge controls. Replaced hydraulic pipes that led to the bow thruster – installed electric valve for independent bow thruster operation.

Galley – redecorate as needed – new deals to galley door, rewired lighting

Bow area -  Bow-thruster totally reconditioned.  Mounting brackets and chain drive replaced.  All pipework and changeover valve (between bow thruster and anchor windlass) all replaced – as has drive chain for both anchor windlass and bow thruster replaced for stainless. Replacement hatch cover made for forward cabin area to make a skylight for forward cabin. Recondition anchor windlass totally – recondition and remount hydraulic drive motor.

Staircase leading down to cabins – repainted

Front cabin – skylight installed. Repainted and rewelded where necessary. Re carpeted and realigned edges of panelling. New lighting, new switches.

Downstairs Head – redecorated, changed toilet, reseal show area, installed shower curtain. Reconditioned shower pump. Fitted new filter to prevent shower pump blockage. Replaced electric toilet pump. Replace macerator unit. Rewired pump/light swtch.

Main Cabin – Replaced all lighting – redecorated and carpeted. Replaced the bed.

Fly Bridge – Fitted two seats and a full set of engine controls – although mounted on a station, this is movable to permit better visibility for difficult mooring

EnginRoom:

Main Engine – serviced and reconditioned cooling system and heat exchangers (these have been removed  - all tubes rodded and acid washed clean – resealed and refitted).  New seawater circulating pump replaced. All external pipes to the main gearbox replaced – fixed faulty cooler all tubes rodded and acid washed clean – resealed and refitted

Aux Engine – general service – pump replaced. Bilge pump drive belts replaced

Drain hydraulic system, clean tank, fitted level gauge, new filters oil etc.

Colour coded all valves with instruction manual

Replaced seawater intake shut off valves and pipework

Replaced battery management system – 4 new batteries (main and aux replaced)

Fitted filter to seawater intake for toilet flushing

Cleaned freshwater tanks, fitted site gauges.  Fitted a changeover valve.  Fitted a 2 stage filtration on the freshwater – to ensure safe drinking water.

Shelving to ensure safe stowage of tools in heavy weather.

Refurbished all valves relating to bilge pump. There is a very high capacity bilge pump that can selectively pump from individual boat compartments.  Added a hand pump and a bilge pump in the engine room (there are now 3 options to remove water from that compartment).
